Buenos Aires Orchestra And Singers – Souvenir Of The Argentine [1956] - Used LP

Regular price $ 6.00 $ 0.00

vinyl: VG-  good listening copy; the music is filled with sounds so the crackle isn't hardly even distracting, for me at least.

sleeve: VG.

1956.

orchestra music just ain't my thing, even if it comes from Buenos Aires 1956...but along with the typical instruments such associated with an orchestra, some cuts on the "Tango" side feature some enjoyable and interesting sounds from instruments coming through...and the "Bolera" side is pretty cool, usually sounds more like a small combo... "Johnny Guitar" features brief electric guitar bridges (and the drumming almost sounds like a drum machine on that cut)...the side features lots of cool percussion that reminds me of Cuba music...during one cut, it reminds me a bit of a latin version of the lounge records of the Three Suns, and another cut reminds me of the soundtracks of Sergio Leone (but of course, this music came first).  Cool.  (the "singers" in the title is just wrong: I don't think it has any singing.)
